Spring has sprung-

March was filled with feet and feet of snow. I believe we had a record snow fall for the season. I have to admit I was excited to see the sun this past week. Spring skiing is in the air. The Village was full of crazy costumes, people skiing and boarding in shorts and bikinis, hanging out, listening to music and soaking up some rays. Absolutely beautiful. The snow is melting quickly, but it is not going to disappear anytime soon.
Big News! Squaw Valley has decided to remain open on weekends until Memorial Day!
April also brings the Easter Bunny to Squaw. Join in the fun for the on hill Easter Egg hunt.

Squaw Valley had a total of 3 sales this past month. Currently there are 13 properties pending / contingent and 11 of the 13 are Short Sales. I still see some distressed properties in Squaw Valley on the horizon but not as many as this past winter. The Resort at Squaw Creek is about to shake the market up a bit and has decided to auction off all of its remaining properties at the end of this month.
