Squaw Valley has had quite the month of activity for Real Estate sales. I am proud to say that Village Real Estate did close the first transaction in over a year that involved financing. Greetings & Happy Holidays,                                                   I wanted to wish a Happy Holidays to you and yours.  Have a fantastic New Year! It is cold and starting to feel a lot like a winter wonderland.  The Christmas tree is up and the decorations are everywhere.  Holiday music is playing throughout the Village and now all we need is some more snow.   Hopefully this weekend could be the storm we have been waiting for this season.  Squaw Valley has 2 runs open here at the bottom of the mountain.  Red Dog & Exhibition.  It is mostly man made snow but a good start to get your ski legs working again.  Squaw Valley Snow Report and Lift Schedules.  There are many events planned in Squaw Valley for the holidays.  Can’t wait to see you here, please check out the event calendar for details.  Village & Squaw Event Calendar Real Estate activity is on the rise here in the Valley.  Everyone is is trying to get into a place for the ski season.  Squaw Valley currently has 11 properties contingent or pending.   Most of the sales we are seeing are at the Resort at Squaw Creek.  Despite the high HOA dues the asking prices have decreased so dramatically the numbers are actually starting to make a little more sense.  Truckee is seeing quite a bit of activity as well. For the month of November, Truckee had 44 sold properties and currently 112 pending or contingent.  The Lake Tahoe area has also seen an increase with 37 sales in November and 51 properties pending or contingent.   There are some extremely great deals and it is not a bad time to get the Lake Tahoe, Squaw Valley, or Truckee home you always dreamed of.  Please check out the Village Real Estate website and click on the link for the area of interest.
