Ski season in is full swing. The past week has brought us over 7 feet of new snow and today it is absolutely beautiful. The Village at Squaw Valley is bustling and Santa has been taking a break from his busy schedule to say hi to everyone. Squaw Valley will be having their annual torch light parade on Christmas Eve. Greetings, It has been fairly warm here in the Sierra’s.  Borel and Mount Rose have been making snow and opened a couple of ski runs over the Halloween weekend.  The warm weather has made it hard to keep the snow around, but that is suppose to change this weekend, we may get temperatures to drop and see some snow showers.This weekend on November 7th is the Truckee Ski Swap

The Resort at Squaw Creek has been seeing some action lately on lower priced properties.

Rainy & Cold

It is a rainy and cold day here in Squaw Valley. Hopefully we will see some snow flurries this evening. A friend just brought over some little skis for my daughter Ava. I am ready for winter and can’t wait to see how my little one likes the snow and to ski. New experiences everyday. Bring on the snow snow storms!
